About
Music is more than just a few notes on a piece of paper. It is the very foundation of our worship. Worship is more than just a few eloquent words. It requires participation and is a vital line of communication in our relationship with Jesus Christ. The church is more than just a building we gather together in on Sunday morning. It is the place where God dwells. God Almighty has chosen to dwell in each and every one of us; and therefore we are the church.
In the Old Testament, the Word of God tells us that the praisers & musicians led the children of Israel into battle and into the presence of God through praise and worship. Today through the ministry of music the body of Christ experiences the victory in battle as well as the intimate worship of Almighty God.
We as singers and musicians of ERC have a great responsibility; we are more than just a band or choir; we are worship leaders and ministers through music. The expressions on our faces and the passion for Christ that we demonstrate will extend and touch the congregation and inspire them to put on the garment of praise, thereby breaking any spirit of heaviness in the atmosphere. When the Body begins to worship in one accord, the Lord will move in miraculous ways, often manifesting Himself in healing, deliverance, and salvation.
